Typography about euthanasia…
Another typographic animation in my favorite ‘colors’: black and white.
Very recognizable for people who live in the Netherlands (I don’t travel as much as I used to do by train but I recognized it immediately).
Story:
Kapitaal (Capital) is a project based animation made for Museum De Beyerd, Dutch Museum for Graphic Design. Kapitaal is a typographical stroll throug a Dutch city revealing the influence of graphic design.
Kapitaal typo-animation by the order of the Beyerd Museum. Kapitaal is an impression of the enormous amount of stimuli that we are harassed by every day. The amount is so big that its commercial effectiveness has become utterly dubious. Directors / animation : Ton Meijdam, Thom Snels, Béla Zsigmond
Typographic animation about typography. A comparison between Wim Crouwel and Buro Destruct.
Story:
This is a project I did for type class. We were to choose 2 typographers and explain how they effected each other. I choose Wim Crouwel from the 20th century and the design group, Buro Destruct, from the 21st century.

Typographic elements animated to Ray Charles’ “Mess Around” by Kevin McDonnell
WOW, this is very good. I like the part ‘Mess around’, it’s indeed messed around so that it can’t be read. The solo’s made with typographic elements: nice. And in my favorite ‘colors’ black&white

This is an experiment that explores the concept of illuminating a city through typography.
Nothing is visible except for the areas which reflect light from the text.
The words and music come directly from the great song: Interpol’s “NYC”.
What can I say but WOW, but the political message is not mine (I don’t give much about politics)
Made by knife-party (and a hole lot more, just see the end of the movie)
